  • 1 cup (225g) unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
  • 3-4 cups (360-480g) powdered sugar, sifted
  • 3/4 cup (90g) unsweetened cocoa powder, sifted
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) heavy cream or milk
